Georgia Brown was a respected general contractor, who transformed the historical homes of Galveston’s East End with her expert touch. She revitalized these old homes with her vision to incorporate classic gingerbread trim with beach-themed paint colors. Her work gained recognition on several occasions in The Galveston Daily News.

Growing up, Mark accompanied his mother to various job sites, learning the art of renovation and the details of construction. Today, Mark carries forward this passion, honoring his mother’s legacy daily at Republic.
